The qualification can be delivered in two formats depending on whether self-study is used:

Entry Requirements
To enrol, you must:
- Hold a valid or recently expired SIA Close Protection Licence (within 3 years) 
- Hold a First Aid qualification (minimum Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (RQF) or higher)

Assessment
The course includes:
- Multiple-choice knowledge tests 
- Practical demonstrations of physical intervention 
- Scenario-based assessments 
All assessments are conducted in line with Highfield Qualification Specification v1.0 (October 2025).
